Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel is currently seeking a Maryland licensed Mortician/Funeral Director or Apprentice to join our team.  Named one of Carroll Counties Best Funeral Homes, we have served the community for over 40 years. Eline Funeral Home, Reisterstown, MD is looking for a licensed Mortician/Funeral Director or someone eligible to serve an apprenticeship. You will be responsible for all aspects of funeral service including, but not limited to: making removals, arranging (if licensed), working visitations, embalming (if licensed) and other preparation, upkeep of building and grounds, answering service on call nights, and other various duties within the funeral home.

Work schedule includes every other weekend and will have every other Thursday and Friday off. A full-time position would include Health Insurance and Simple IRA retirement.

Fifth-generation, family-owned J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc. in southern York County, Pennsylvania has an immediate opening for a Pennsylvania licensed funeral director/embalmer or a West Virginia or Maryland licensed funeral director/embalmer (by reciprocity without examination). Maryland licensed professionals must have practiced continuously in the State of Maryland for five years in order to meet the requirements of the Pennsylvania State Board for a reciprocal license. Other out-of-state professionals may be considered for the position if they meet Pennsylvania’s statutory requirements for licensure.
